XS’ Jesse Waits and his new Director of Nightlife Entertainment Zarnaz “Zee” Zandi score one for the Wynn by signing DJ/producer and Coachella vet Deadmau5 to an exclusive residency at the hotel. Basically, this "residency" means that Deadmau5 will play "often" at Wynn venues through 2012, and when in Vegas these will be his only performances. Deadmau5 kicks off January 2 at XS, fyi. Anyway, Wynn's marketing team put together a video of him applying for all sorts of jobs at the resort – including working as a sous for Devin Hashimoto at Okada. Watch Deadmau5 butcher some fluke here. [EaterWire]
