What a long strange trip it's been for Broadway Ale House, previously Fifth Amendment Alehouse. Dating back three years ago, husband and wife team Eden Noe and Daniel Petrovich first launched the property as a sausage and craft beer abode, a year later they changed the venue's name to Broadway Ale House, then a year and a half after that the spot was shuttered by the ABC. Shortly thereafter news leaked that management had been selling drugs from the bar, at which point new owner Mark Marquez claimed control. Which brings us to today, or, rather, last week. Yet another husband and wife team Colin and Elizabeth Rich take over next with The Commons.
