After several weeks of soft opening festivities, actor/producer Duane Martin officially launched XEN Lounge on September 9 in Studio City. Situated across the street from NBC-Universal, XEN offers a small and large plate new American menu cheffed by former Firefly cook Neil Shuman. The above photos offer a glimpse into the space which is divided into four areas. There's a silver coated main lounge/bar, a VIP dining room with polka-dot walls (!), and two outdoor patios with fireplaces and cabanas for table service (a second bar is being built on one patio). Hours of operation run daily from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m. [EaterWire]
