Five years ago chef Jose Andres' The Bazaar in the SLS Hotel made a splashy entrance on La Cienega, almost immediately earning a perfect four star LA Times review and even a feature in the NY Times. Over the years The Bazaar has continued to enchant diners with its spherified olives, foie gras cotton candy, and "Magic Mojitos." According to Daily Dish, changes are coming to the restaurant. The Bazaar will grow into the hotel's front retail lobby area (pictured above), and Saam, that private rear dining room, will transition into a dining bar similar to minibar, Andres' 12 seat tasting menu space in D.C. In other news, Andres mentions a concept called Bazaar Meat, planned for the new SLS Hotel in Vegas, and says he also wants to open a Japanese-Spanish restaurant.
