So this is where Spin The Bottle Wine Studio lives, on Riverside Drive in Toluca Lake right by Malbec and Lucy's 51, replacing Weekendz Only. A joint venture between Doug LaGambina and Scott Kay (Wood & Vine), the idea here is a retail wine shop and wine bar, specializing in boutique small-production wine, both domestic and imported. Customers will have the ability to taste vino prior to purchase, with still to be determined food pairings. But, charcuterie from former Tavern and Wood & Vine chef Gavin Mills will likely be on offer down the line. Also, expect six wines on tap and an aesthetic construct conducive to socializing.
