Mainland Poke has come ashore in Santa Monica, opening up another outlet of their popular fresh fish franchise just in time for the warming spring and summer months. The new location lands along Santa Monica Boulevard, just around the corner from Sweetgreen and closer to the ocean than the likes of Wexler’s Deli and area favorite Tar & Roses.
This new location follows the modern Mainland model, with its sleek wood-and-metal design, sunny outdoor seating, and large window into the kitchen where guests can watch whole fish being broken down by hand.
Otherwise this is business as usual for the poke trend, with a variety of build-your-own options laid out for customers as well as some pre-formatted bowls with specific ingredients for those who want someone else to choose their meal. Guests will also be able to order beer and wine at the company’s Beverly Hills location soon, with Marina del Rey and this Santa Monica newcomer adding adult beverages soon too.
Mainland Poke Santa Monica is now open, keeping daily hours from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
