It's Official: Walter Manzke in at Bastide

Well it's good to know our deductive reasoning is in peak form. That little train of thought we dropped last week about Walter Manzke becoming Bastide's new chef? Turns out we were 100% right. The Times confirmed it today, with owner Joe Pytka saying, "I'm bored with the idea that superstar chefs are going to grace Los Angeles with their presence as a sort of last stop on their world tour, usually after Vegas." Opening date for Bastide is reportedly April 15.
