Sawtelle Kitchen is one of those restaurants that people either love or hate (Yelpers are pro, Hounds are mixed; bloggers are indifferent). But for those in the "It's too freakin' small, but I need my Japanese curry fix!" camp, good news: Sawtelle Kitchen reopens tomorrow, Tuesday Feb. 20. Owner Kenji closed the restaurant for renovations last June, and he told us it's a lot bigger now, with expanded seating both inside and out, plus a new dining counter. The menu hasn't changed a bit, but the phone number has; it's now 310.473.2222.
