CraftWatch Sneak Peek: Big Booths, Cabanas, Easy Res

UrbanDaddy took a look around

We're sorry, Tom. Didn't mean to leave you out. Thanks to UrbanDaddy, we have a much better look inside Craft, which officially opens tomorrow, the tête-à-tête of dining days when both it and Osteria Mozza open. According to UD, the place is "brighter, bigger and breezier than its NYC brother." That giant terrace we saw a few weeks ago is definitely a plus. And there's more:

leather and velvet booths along the left wall, or one of the five outdoor cabanas, which feature curtains that can be closed during a sensitive liaison with the client you're about to poach. (There's also a private room in the back, for when you've got an entire office to poach.)
Sounds like reservations are a bit easier for Colicchio than Mario. From a tipster: "Called up this morning, they answered right away, got 7pm reservations for Saturday August 4th no problem, it was all very easy! Now if I could only get past the busy signal at Mozza!" See you soon, Tom. Promise.
