Boule Atelier Celebrates Tonight, Opens In a Week

We were really excited to tell you to visit the new Boule Atelier today---the bigger, splashier new sibling (and soon to be replacement) for Boule a few doors away---but although there's an opening party tonight, the new sweet shop will not open for another week or so, per PR. The original is still there if a sugar attack kicks in. Might we suggest the pistachio gelato combined with a scoop of vanilla bean? One bite and all is well with the world.

Hope they improved the quality of their baked goods. I visited the old boule earlier this summer after happening upon it. After a dissappointing experience, I heard from friends that they had similar problems with their eclairs and macaroons. Anyone have a patiserie in LA that they would suggest?

after seeing this, my sister and i had to go! we managed to get in at the door and had a fabulous time. boule's samples were simply delicious. i'm really looking forward to the opening :]
