The good news: The diminutive Silverlake Wine is finally expanding. The bad news: It's happening next week. The store will close on Monday (11/5) and reopen on Thursday (11/8) with a larger space, more wines, and soon, spirits. "It will still be the same store," says co-owner George Cosette. "But it will be like Silverlake Wine 2.0." The back wall will be moved back, literally expanding the floor space, adding new custom-made racks and displays. Cosette and the other owners hope to have the spirits license in place before Thanksgiving. Weekly events like Thursday night flights will still be a go.
