While the fate of his other restaurant may or may not be decided, Tony Jones throws the doors open at Mode, his 24-hour French fashion-focused diner downtown. According to Angelenic, the doors open at 11am Friday, plus there's a "meet-and-greet" event on Thursday night at 10pm to get to know the neighbors. 916 S. Olive St., Downtown, 213.627.4888.
