Mode Meltdown

Wow is Mode having a tough time. Although confirmed by the owner and publicist last week, the 24/7 French restaurant barely had it together for the big debut on Friday. According to Angelenic, there were closed signs, busy signals at the restaurant, confused servers for the one day it was open, garbage outside---all sorts of mayhem. No one's sure, not even the employees, if the restaurant will open this week or next. Too bad for those who actually went to the restaurant this weekend; not a great way to drum up business, especially in a fickle Downtown market.
