Pre-Dish Dish: Buddha's Belly II Opens Next Week

Just a few days after we took that shot above, the Plywood came down. Sigh. So it's official: The new Buddha's Belly Santa Monica location will open on Monday, January 28, and to show good-will to it's new nabe---it is named after Buddha, after all---the restaurant will donate 10% percent of sales to Heal the Bay. You'll note dinner service is you walk/drive by over the weekend, but it's just friends, family, previews...not open to the public. (205 Broadway, 310.458.2500)
