What we learn about Comme Ca, The Hall at Palihouse, Alain Giraud's forth-coming Anisette and LA's newfound brasserie obsession: Two of the three restaurants were directly inspired by Pastis and Balthazar in New York; brasseries (loud, brash) are not bistros (quiet, cozy); Anisette's zinc bar is one of only two in LA.
