David Myers Going Italian Next
Tuesday, March 25, 2008

Now that Boule Atelier is happily on its way, the original Boule location a few doors down has sat idle for the last few months. After getting our hands on the CUP license application for a 48-seat restaurant a couple weeks ago, it was confirmed that the David Myers camp had something new in the works. He's done Japanese-French, French brasserie, bakery/confections, and now he's working on an Italian concept with chef Steve Samson at the helm. Samson worked for Piero Selvaggio for years (exec chef at Valentino SM, and opened Valentino Vegas), but he's most recently been in the Sona kitchen. This plan isn't out of the blue: Samson and Myers both hinted that they were cooking something up when we ran into them at Gourmet on Fire last June.
