Royale "Temporarily Closed," Awaiting Redo

After Tony Jones put Mode out of its misery, there was some question about his first venture, Royale on Wilshire Boulevard near Downtown. A tipster sends an update:
"Just got a live person on the phone. Royale's restaurant is closed 'temporarily,' though the bar/lounge remains open. 'New management and a remodel' is what the guy who answered said. Chef is staying on. They expect to re-open by Summer."The opening chef was Eric Ernest, who also tried to get Mode off the ground; not sure if he's the chef "staying on" at Royale. After losing Mode and canceling plans for a third restaurant, we're not even sure if Jones is still involved. No one answered when we called the restaurant to confirm.
