Some good deals on Spiegelau wares. Owner says there's already something planned for the space that will be 'food and wine oriented', but not a wine bar since Victor's Restaurant already has one. SOMEWHERE: We dished that Samir Mohajer would leave Rustic Canyon this month, and now we hear he and former Providence chef de cuisine Paul Shoemaker are teaming up to open their own place. No word on concept, timeline or location yet, but the seed has been planted. Shoemaker, who opened Providence with Michael Cimarusti and Donato Poto, left the restaurant in late 2007.
