Culver City Chipotle: Lines, No Freebies

That line must be staged. This snap of the new Chipotle in downtown Culver City (just a few doors down from Gyenari and Rush Street) just hit the inbox, and while we don't doubt the draw of a Chipotle carnitas burrito, it's not like they're giving them away for free or anything like at other recent openings. The burritoporium opened for a few hours tonight for all proceeds will go to the non-profit arm of the Culver City Unified School District. A good cause, sure, but do you have to eat to give to the schools? Just give; leave the burrito for when you really need it. Chipotle opens tonight until 8:30pm for the charity event, and full open tomorrow, July 11.
