We just got official word that Paperfish served it's last meal tonight. Staff only found out tonight; doors will be shuttered tomorrow. The Patina Group cites the bad economy as the reason, but Paperfish had a rough start from the beginning---first only opening for lunch last November, adding dinner later, then getting reamed by Miss Irene (half-star review). Patina Group alum Kevin Meehan was brought in to take over the reins after opening chef Yianni Koufondontis left, but something wasn't connecting. Joachim Splichal is cutting his losses. We'll have more on the closing in the morning. [~ELA~]
