With the shutterings and stalled action at 8000 Sunset, dining options are few and far between in the complex: First, tipped off by a hungry office worker in the building, we've confirmed that the California Pizza Kitchen will close this Saturday (Nov. 8). According to CPK staffers parking was an issue, business has been slow, and they were just told this week. There's been no visible signs of progress on the planned Trader Joe's, Pinkberry or Starbucks either. There were rumblings that the Cheesecake Factory was eyeing the ginormous empty Virgin Megastore space, but that was never confirmed. For what it's worth, Sushi Dan is still open.
