Lonnie Moore and Mike Malin are at it again: The Dolce Group has dibs the Vine Street Lounge which mostly served as a live music venue in its last incarnation and closed in 2007. This was the club behind the Hollywod & Vine restaurant, which also shuttered in 2007 and still sits idle. Even though Basque is burned and gone and no one can afford the rent on the Hollywood & Vine restaurant space, the Palihouse on Vine will open in 2009 adding to the buzz Katsuya and S Bar bring across the street, plus the W Hotel and its Innovative Dining Group brasserie should debut on the other corner late next year. Not a bad spot to be in. We're told the boys are traveling right now so no details on what the plans are just yet.
