Another one bites the dust in Old Town. Word from a tipster: "Dena House a Sushi/Japanese Restaurant in Old Pasadena has just put up the 'Closed for remodeling Sign.'" That was fast. The place opened in July '07 but sound like a mess from the get go (menu all over the place, bad music, odd space etc.); plus the location has been cursed for the last few years---it was Union Cattle Co. briefly, before that the Pasadena Brewing Company, and a Jerry's Deli back in the day. This just isn't the economy for bad concepts. The phone message says they actually plan to reopen, hopefully sometime February. Oh what we'd give for one good restaurant in Old Town... [~ELA~]
