Santa Monica: Tonight, Santa Monica will finally and formally meet the Pasadena phenomenon that is La Grande Orange. Doors open at 5pm sharp for dinner tonight, followed by breakfast/lunch on Tuesday morning. Unlike the Pasadena location, we'll venture to say that the decor at the offshoot is more modern and casual, as it was designed to be more of a local hangout for the neighborhood/beach crowd. Amenities include a grab-and-go counter with snacks and coffee, an open kitchen, indoor and outdoor patio seating as well as a full bar. Even though the dining room is open all day, there will not be any full service until the evening. 2000 N. Main Street; open seven days a week; (310) 396-9145; website
