Now serving in the former Popeyes home on the corner of Vine and Melrose (in the same complex as Mario's Peruvian) comes Italian meets American meets Argentine deli Cardinale Kitchen. Look for prepared sausages, cured meats (many of which are made in house), cheeses, and sandwiches, but Cardinale goes beyond typical deli offerings with lasagna, butternut squash gnocchi, grandma's meatloaf, plus sides that range from couscous to poenta. Quite the hodgepodge menu, and most dishes are priced under $10. Open daily from 10AM to 10PM. [EaterWire]
