SBE has announced plans to extend its partnership with Gladstone's through 2013. Does that mean pastel-hued Kartell furniture and red velvet ropes? At this point, no, but... Since SBE came onboard the menu has been "enhanced" by Executive Chef Daniel Elmaleh who oversees the cuisine for the majority of SBE's dining properties, plus a new list of specialty ocean-inspired cocktails is about to launch. Here it comes. SBE’s Nightlife team will eventually offer "exclusive beach party event series and SBE’s award winning Special Events division will bring year-round upscale events to provide a renewed energy and allure for locals and visitors alike." Hm... Other plans on the horizon include property and structural "improvements" to "[revitalize] the decor and [enhance] the facility while celebrating Gladstone’s legacy." So with regard to those red velvet ropes...
