As previously reported, Nino Linsmayer, proprietor of Food+Lab, a gourmet eat-in/take out cafe which opened over a year ago in West Hollywood, originally shared plans to expand the small eatery into a neighboring space that housed a motorcycle shop. While those plans fell through for the time being (he still plans to expand there but not until later this year), as of 8AM this morning he has opened a Food+Lab kiosk at the Pacific Design Center. All that patio space holds 18 tables to seat about 50 diners and offers basically the same menu as is available at the original location. Up next, Nino is checking out locations in Silver Lake for the next outpost.
