Chef Samir Mohajer (Rustic Canyon) opened the first branch of his casual market driven cafe Cabbage Patch almost two years ago in Beverly Hills. Seven months later he went on to open that hot dog stand called Spoc's in Westwood, followed by a second outpost of Cabbage Patch eight months later in Playa Vista. With continued success, Mohajer even went on to plan a third Cabbage Patch which was originally set to launch in August, but that didn't happen. Anyway, here now an update. As it stands CP downtown should open before the end of the year (which leaves, what, like three weeks...). This outpost will serve beer and wine, and offer an expanded menu with pizzette, rostisserie chicken, and new sides. Hours of operation run Monday though Friday 11AM-6PM with plans to expand into dinner and serve on weekends.
