What's old is new again at Craig's, does this place look vaguely familiar? Perhaps, reminiscent of Dan Tana's not too far away? Owner Craig Susser spent 23 years over at Dan Tana's but now strikes out on his own, transforming the shuttered Melrose Bar & Grill space into this time warped all American eatery which soft opened last night. Here the eats are primarily American with a touch of Italian, pasta is made in house, there's a wood-fired pizza oven, and...fried chicken. Can't miss those tremendous oversized blue booths, Craig's appears as a slightly more modern and polished take on Dan Tana's.
