Last week a commenter suggested that Travis Lett's (Gjelina) new Hollywood restaurant might take over the Kung Pao Kitty space on Hollywood Blvd. Eater hears this is not the case. Regardless, The Kitty stopped service at the beginning of this month, right now the restaurant's website is kaput and its phone number disconnected. Neighboring businesses offer different perspectives on the shutter, one says the venue is only undergoing a renovation while another says the space has been sold.
