Jeremy Fox dropped in to cook at Animal for a few nights last May, as did Frank Falcinelli and Frank Castronovo of Frankies Spuntino last June. Word just in that Animal's next guest chef temporary dining experience features Daniel Boulud's Cafe Boulud helmed by the restaurant's executive chef Gavin Kaysen, a recipient of Food & Wine's "Best New Chef" title and winner of the James Beard Awards' "Rising Star Chef." The Date: April 18. The Concept: Cafe Boulud, West Coast -- aka refined seasonal French bistro fare. The Cost: $75 a head plus $25 for a wine pairing.
