Here's the situation about an hour ago at Il Covo, Sean MacPherson's anticipated new Italian restaurant which replaced the shuttered Orso. According to the eatery's GM, Il Covo opened for three days of lunch service last week and should kick off dinner by the end of the month. By now the interior is completely finished with the exception of some painter's tape, management still isn't ready for final photos which is a shame because the dining room looks gorgeous, in a very 19th-century Italy type of way. So, we're left with the exteriors up above, note the side patio is still under construction. In other news, Guest of a Guest popped by to try out lunch, here's a sample menu.
