Just a quick update on Beer Bar's temporary shutter. The venue closed around March 3 or 4 after owners discovered that there was a zoning issue with the property and didn't want to risk losing their liquor license by remaining open while rectifying the problem. As it now stands, they are waiting for the city to green light their tweaks, which could take anywhere from two weeks to two months. So far they have been signed off by several departments and are waiting on one final approval. In the meantime, Rambutan is still open for business as usual.
