Despite the efforts to keep Old Town's Neomeze alive (opened in February 2007), today Kings Row Gastropub moves in, holding its official public debut. Neomeze owners retooled the space with new communal tables and an outdoor patio aka a "beer garden," sheesh SO many gastropubs hitting Pas lately. There's Congregation Ale House, Haven Gastropub, Lucky Baldwins... Anyway, Neomeze chef Thomas Jesse remains at the venue to craft a pretty interesting list of eats, think Roasted Pig, Portobello Banh Mi, a wild boar pulled pork sandwich, an Asian Duck Burger, to be served alongside local and small production beers, plus cocktails organized from house-infused spirits.
