Not too long ago Eater uncovered details on sbe's decision to bring 80 year-old NYC hot dog staple Papaya King to Hollywood, specifically on Wilcox just south of Hollywood Blvd. While Papaya King Hollywood is scheduled to open in mid 2011, prior to its debut sbe plans to launch a Papaya King hot dog truck that will make appearances throughout SoCal and give away thousands of free hot dogs in April and May. Check Facebook and Twitter for details. AND in addition to its LA expansion, sbe intends to bring Papaya King to Nevada, Arizona and Miami in the near future.
