About a week ago, Pitfire Pizza on Westwood Blvd showed of its newly modified interior. No more family-style booths or metal bar stools, in place of those comes new wooden furniture, fresh paint, wood paneling, and an overall hipper, more urban aesthetic. The downtown locale also received similar treatment since the new year (finished its reno about three months ago), but nothing has been touched at the Culver City space since, hello, it did just receive a James Beard nom in the design category. So, yeah, nada over there. Actually, the older locations were remodeled to fit the CC aesthetic. And finally, as for NoHo, partner David Sanfield says, "Noho, will always remain our loosest joint."
