CENTURY CITY— Toddrickallen spots some action going on at the Century City mall. In addition to Vanilla Bake Shop and BJ's Brewhouse, The Counter will open on the ground floor. AGOURA HILLS— On June 12 Out of the Box Collective, one of those farmers market delivery box organizations, hosts Summer Feast at Malibou Lake Mountain Club. Tix cost $90 and include bites of an 18 hour roasted Berkshire Cross pig farmed by rancher Lefty Ayers (he also donated a pig to Cochon 555 this year), and a seasonal family-style feast prepared by chef Sara Woodward who has worked in kitchens run by Alice Waters and Suzanne Goin. Local wine/beer (possibly vino from Cornell Winery) and live tunes. A portion of proceeds benefit SOS Malibu, an outreach organization to help the poor/homeless. [EaterWire]
