On Monday, December 19, chef Ludo Lefebvre returns to Gram & Papa's (home to LudoBites 5.0 and 7.0) for a porcine evening titled Un Petit Porc. Ya know, just a little piggy. Gram and Papa's owner Mike Ilic explains that he and friend James Bond, owner of super rad sneaker shop Undefeated, wanted to host a holiday roast, and - born from experiences at Porchetta in NYC and Mozza in LA - decided to prepare porchetta. Mike asked Ludo to cook, and the chef agreed. So, this three course meal costs $33 (the menu was designed by James Bond, the above mentioned James Bond) and includes a Bibb lettuce salad to start, followed by the choice of a porchetta sandwich or Caprese sandwich plus two sides (burnt potatoes, greens, polenta, or white beans), and a roasted apple with vanilla ice cream. The resy line opens tomorrow at 3PM (213-624-7272) and three seatings are available from 6:30-7:30PM, 7:30-8:30PM, and 8:30-9:30PM. [EaterWire]
