Native Foods, the SoCal-born vegan chainlet now anchored in Chicago, has bigs plans for 2012. According to the cafe's newsletter, sales increased 16% during 2011, and thus management has decided to initiate 15 new dining establishments in the coming year. Within the first quarter of 2012 Native Foods will open in Newport Beach, San Diego, Santa Monica, Boulder, and one more unnamed city. [EaterWire]
