Bobby Green, Dimitri Komarov, and Dmitry Liberman - also known as the 1933 Group and responsible for such venues as Oldfield’s Liquor Room, Bigfoot Lodge, and Thirsty Crow - have transformed the Little Cave into La Cuevita, or Little Cave en español. PR describes the retooled space as "A new, old-world Mexican grotto set in the heart of Highland Park," serving "traditional agave spirits," so a heavy focus on mescal and tequila. Especially mescal. There's a press preview set for May 1, but La Cuevita opens to the public right before Cinco de Mayo, on May 4.
