One of the main perks of being an Eater LA photographer is getting fed on the job. Such was the case earlier today when Elizabeth Daniels stopped by Copenhagen Pastry, a new Culver City bakeshop positioned at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Washington Place. After shooting the space and sampling a spandauer, she quickly declared the danish to be the best pastry she's ever had in her whole life. And Yelpers seem to agree. Pretty much every commenter has given the Danish bakery, which opened on Saturday, a five star review, gushing about the light and flakey baked goods. LAist says that Henrik Gram of downtown' Hygge bakery is consulting on this endeavor, and he's been baking pastries since 1971. Talk about being good with your hands ... Copenhagen Pastry is now open during the week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on weekends from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
