On the heels of launching La Otra Taqueria Escuela, Beverly Boulevard's creative ode to the taco, proprietor Steven Arroyo sends word that tomorrow he will cease operations at next door sandwich shop Potato Chips. Arroyo explains that The City wanted him to add 20 parking spots for the tiny eatery, and instead Arroyo will hold on to the space and relocate Potato Chips' sandwich menu into the original Escuela Taqueria on Stanley. The silver lining here is that Escuela's kitchen offers more resources, thusly La Otra Taqueria Escuela chef Jared Simons will here (Escuela on Stanley) begin to fry fresh potato chips (how apropos), and add a few more sammies to the menu.
