The updo of Echo Park's Brite Spot diner, under ownership of Dana Hollister (Cliff's Edge, Villains Tavern), is almost complete. As part of a summer refresh, which included a new chef/menu launch and kitchen renovations, part of the restaurant's parking lot is currently being converted into 40 additional outdoor seats. While originally slated to reopen today, workers on site say Brite Spot's debut is still a few days off. [The Eastsider]
