Key Club — Sunset Boulevard iconic performance venue around since 1967 — is shuttering after its final show on March 14. Originally known as Gazzarri's, the venue changed names to Billboard Live in 1995, and three years later became the Key Club. During its Gazzarri's nightclub days, bands like The Doors and Van Halen performed, but more recently one could catch a show like '80s parody band Steel Panther (Metal Skool). So what's next? Word on the street is that a high profile nightclub is moving in.
