Although u-sushi didn't quite catch on, another customizable sushi roll place is underway in The SGV, soft opening the first weekend of May. M.Y.O Sushi, or Make Your Own Sushi, is bringing new life to a former Panda Express at 3648 S Nogales St. in West Covina. Chef Michael Noe says that the fast casual eatery will also serve farmers market fruit smoothies and multi-flavored shaved ice desserts. [EaterWire]
