Los Angeles has no shortage of specialty coffee bars from east side to west, and in addition to Stumptown shacking up in the Arts District downtown, Santa Cruz's Verve Coffee Roasters is also en route. LA Weekly relays news that Verve has signed a lease in LA and will open a cafe, roastery, and retail shop in about 10 months. In fact, it sounds like Verve is also landing in the Arts District. Prior to Verve's LA flagship launch, management will operate a "training facility and tasting room" in the Arts District and eventually fold that space into its permanent location.
