Can't say this one is a huge shocker. The Colonial is in escrow to become L'Assiette Steak Frites by Jacques Fiorentino. The restaurant and wine bar, previously TiroVino and before that All'Angelo, threw open doors last summer as a joint venture from Carolyn and Mary Anne Reyes (The Pearl Cocktail Lounge) and sommelier David Haskell. However, Haskell dropped out early this year. No word on The Colonial's final day of service. [EaterWire]
