Dough Pizzeria & Bar is cruising to the former site of Frankie & Johnnie's New York Pizza on Sunset near Hilldale. Just a tad behind schedule, owner Alex Ganjian will be ready to open his upscale pizzeria in the two to three weeks, with a menu of Korean barbecue, Italian sausage, and burrata topped pies. In addition to house-made pastas, one will also find sandwiches, salads, four protein entree plates, plus carrot cake and nutella stuffed dough with caramel and powdered sugar. [EaterWire]
