The line begins tomorrow for Greenspan's Grilled Cheese, the super duper delayed grilled cheese depot from The Foundry chef Eric Greenspan and design house Spacecraft. Remember, The Foundry, situated directly next-door, flipped into a bar named Melrose Umbrella Co., and what's super convenient about that is customers can pick up sandwiches and walk next-door to eat them, or simply head over to Melrose Umbrella Co. and place a grilled cheese order with a bartender there.
Greenspan's menu itself is pretty short and sweet. Eight sandwiches in addition to a design-your-own option, three salads, a tomato soup (ideal as a sandwich dip), fries, mini potato pancakes, and apple pie, s'mores and a banana-peanut butter-goat cheese sandwich for dessert.
