This is pretty interesting. Chef Agostino Sciandri of Italian eateries Ago, Toscanova and Sor Tino, among others, has opened escrow to purchase a liquor license for a restaurant on the ground floor of the Arquitectonica. It's a new apartment building to be completed later this year on Grand Avenue right by The Broad museum. And remember, Tim Hollingsworth (French Laundry) has signed on as chef at the new Bill Chait eatery in conjunction with The Broad. So, this block is poised to get some very quality eats.
